Lets try again
I was here a little while a go and tryed to get some advice on two knives that I have made. The picture thing did not work out and then I had to reformat the hard drive and lost everthing. So her it goes. Hopefully it works this time. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
The knives that I fabricated are skinners and made of hardened saw blade steel ground and finished to a chrome polished look with red oak slabes, full tage design. The first one used a hiden screw style rivet and bonding to secure the handles also blade is semi taper approx 1/2 in from egde through the full lengh of egde. The second has brass rivets and a finger gaurd/ bolster also useing a full taper design and grinding a top edge at the front of the blade. The dimensions are overall length 8 IN,blade 3.5 in,blade thickness 1/16 . |
