How do you make a straight grindline?

Hi guys

I cant figure out how to do this and can't find any videos.
Can you give me some pointer og links to videos?

I'm trying to figure out how to do something like this, where the grindline is straight and end up right at the point.

But can you only make grinds like that as hollowgrinds?
Is it not something you can make on a platen?

Jigs are an easy way to do this in repetition, works with hollow or flat grinds. In your case you'll orient the blank for the desired bevel line. This type of fixture and you can mod it as necessary:

Rasmus,

The technique is the same whether for a hollow grind or a flat grind. I have another video for flat grinds but in that one I make a chef's knife so there is no grind line which is the reason I suggested the hollow grind video.......

Don't grind it like that, but grind it like this instead. See how much easier that is?

So there you go I hope you like it, seems the best way to me.
