Edge Pro sharpener

I see there is a china version of the edge pro. Just wondered if anyone has tried it? Looks like it might be OK? And it's only $30 or so.

It's $30 - go for it. How bad could it be?

I've seen what I think you are talking about on ebay. It looks like it could work, and I've thought very seriously about ordering it. It's essentially just a clamp that holds the blade at a set angle to the stone. Assuming it doesn't fall apart it should work alright. If you do end up getting one let us know how it is.

The shipping is free, but it would likely take close to a month to recieve. That's kind of their thing. I have ordered quite a few things direct from china. It's really just hit and miss. Some of it is okay, a lot of it is crap. I will tell you though that a lot of it is the same stuff the US sellers carry at twice the price. For $30 I may just try it. Worse come to worse you could use the stones without the angle guide.

I did check out the feedback for the seller on Ebay ( 99.8%) and most everyone that purchased one didn't have anything bad to say about the sharpener. I was just curious if anyone on here might have one and how well it was made.
