Unhappy Hugh Mc Donald Rolling Mill

hello everyboby

i'm new to this forum and i hope this is the right place to ask the following question :

i want to build a rolling mill like the hugh mc donald one .
i contacted norm larson at larson books to buy the plans , but he doesn t have a secured payment system, and i dont want to send my visa card number on the net

is there anybody out there who could help me in sending me a few details like :
what is the size of the main frame?
how is the pivot point laid out?

any pics in that respect would be appreciated on my e-mail

jacques.omeyer@wanadoo.fr

many thanks in advance

Hey Big Jack,

I would post this question over at "Tools Time" Tool Time with Gene & Bob or "Ed Caffrey's Workshop" or the "Outpost"

this area where you have posted is more of a non-knife forum more to tell jokes to each other and make various announcements . You'll get more responces at the other locations.

Welcome aboard!

The plans are really work it in terms of taking the guesswork out of construction. I've built several, and without plans originally, it would have taken me much, much longer. You might want to see if he can setup a Paypal account or something.

Bigjack, I got a set from him last year. Just sent him a check. Drop one to him and he'll get them right back out to you.
