thales's second knife build

This is my second knife build. Overall length is 7 15/16", cutting edge length is 3 5/16". The blade is from Jantz Supply and it came with the nickel-silver bolsters already soldered on. The handle scales are ivory colored paper micarta with mosaic pins and a lanyard hole liner of nickel-silver, bonded together with Loctite Hysol E-120 epoxy from McMaster-Carr. While shaping the handle, I found it difficult to avoid burning or smudging the micarta with the belt sander and buffer, so I finished it by wet sanding by hand. The blade steel is 440C. It's 5/32" thick.

I purchased the sheath so it was not a perfect fit. It was a bit small at the mouth of the sheath so the stitching started showing signs of unraveling. I added a rivet at the mouth of the sheath which is not shown in this image

Very crisp lines, I am impressed! What process did you take on the bevel on this knife? High quality second knife!

The blade came already ground. I just refined the edge a bit with the belt grinder and buffer.

And thanks for the kind thoughts.
