What do you think of this?

This is the last knife of this set of the same design. It's actually the one I broke the tip off of and decided to finish it up anyway to do some testing with. Well, it turned out actually not too bad so I decided to keep and use it myself. Actually I kind of like the reground tip better than the original one.

This is my first try with spacers under my handle scales and also my first try with a single piece, fold-over, whatever you call it type kydex sheath.

Let me know what you think. I didn't put quite as much effort into the finish, and I've been using it for the last couple of days, so you might notice some scrapes and scratches.

Thumbs up

cb,
You did an excellent job on that one!
I also like the re-ground tip shape better and the the blade also has a slight recurve that I really like. Nice clean look with the spacers too.
Kudos!

Thanks for the compliments.

The pins are micarta.

It's kind of funny how the tip worked out. I ground the spine way too thin towards the tip on this one. Just to prove to myself it was too weak I jammed it into a piece of wood and it snapped off. I didn't even intentionally regrind it. I put it on the belt to sharpen it so I could use it for some cutting performance tests and the edge just kind of blended into the spine at the tip. I think it was magic, but I haven't decided for sure.
