I've recently come across a Trenton anvil and would appreciate help determining it's age and origin.
It's stamped 195 on the foot under the horn which I believe is the weight. It also has a stamp reading A100451. Any help with it's age? I am curious to find as much information as may be available. Thanks in advance for your help. ![]() |

Trenton anvil information
According to Anvils in America by Richard Postman your anvil with serial number 100451 was made in 1911 by the Columbus Forge & Iron Company in Columbus, Ohio.

Thanks for the historical info!
Great to see these anvils among other older tools still in use. __________________ Mike ![]() ![]() |
