Love your knives MV. I wished I was that good. Sometimes I get lucky and make one as precise and , well cool. I used to live not far from Garden Grove in Huntington Beach and Westminster with my new bride and a year and 3 months later hellion of a baby daughter. Had other kids, but she was the worst, still is, now I think about it. lol. Hope you have a great show. If it's raining then go to Disneyland, but too crowded otherwise. Lots of other places though. I'm not a fan of sub-hilts but yours looks good. Have you ever tried tortoise shell kirinite? It has a nice dark feel to it and looks good.

Thanks for the compliments jimmontg. I think my wife and kids are going to go to knotsberry farm while I'm at the show. Disneyland is too crowded, expensive and overrated in my opinion. Hopefully we can go to the beach while we are there also. I haven't tried kirinite, someday maybe. I now know that carbon fiber isn't much fun to work with, but I love the results! - Mark

The tiger camo look of the carbon fiber looks really good. I've only ever used carbon fiber tubes and cut them wet by hand and was very careful with the dust. Made nice thong holes and mosaic tubes being black. Buy them at Hobby City of all places, which is where I buy most of my pins and tubes of brass and copper.
Your family will enjoy Knott's Berry Farm. I used to ride there on my bike when I was a kid. It used to be open, but then they fenced it in and charged admission around 1970 or so. It used to basically be a western theme park back then and you bought tickets for various rides.
