looking for olive wood

I need 2 pieces of olive wood 2" X 1" X 10" preferrably stabilized but if not I can get it done. Need it for a wood sheath for a dagger I made.
Thanks
Steve

If I am looking for a specific species of wood I use wood finder.

http://www.woodfinder.com

I prefer the European Olive wood, the wood from California has a somewhat vinegar smell to me. The European is more expensive though.

I noticed Cook Woods has a few pieces on eBay. http://stores.ebay.com/Cook-Woods

Cook Woods http://www.cookwoods.com also has a warehouse and mill in Klamath Falls, Oregon. My wife and I toured the facilities - though she had to drag me out of there. Only a $30.00 Minimum which is good compared to Gilmer Woods http://www.gilmerwood.com in Portland Oregon who charges a $100.00 minimum.

I always prefer to do business with someone I've bought from before, but Wood Finder has served me well.

I think even with high transportation cost https://www.glumber.com can be a viable option.

Steve hasn't posted in 4 years. Wonder if he's still around.

There are a lot of dead folks in the membership list, and some "Lazarus" members who appear to be dead but occasionally show up alive and well.

Went by his website and it looks current with a Copyright of 2022 posted. He's doing some nice looking pieces in the pics.
