    Hello Don,

My father has been stricken with Alzheimer's. He and my mother were active knife collectors for about 30 years and have many fine custom minature and full size knives by makers like Jim Whitehead, Jim Ence, Gene Baskett, Woody Woodcock, Ray Beers, etc. They have several sets of full sized knives paired with the miniature version as well.

In preparation for moving my father into managed care, my mother has asked me to help her sell her knife collection. Seeing that you have an obvious love of knives and a teacher's heart, I wonder if you can give me just a little advice on how to start the process.

I have lots of computer skills and hundreds of sales on Ebay, but it seems that a collectors and makers forum would be a good place to get started selling this collection, or at least getting some good advice.

    Can you help?

    Yours,
    Mike
