Is timascus still liked?

I have some cuts left and was debating whether to put it on a knife. I don't see it used these days so has it dropped in style?

Since no one else seems to have an opinion I'd have to guess that if you're not seeing it used much it is at least out of favor with the makers. Or, you might check and see if anybody is even selling timascus these days - could be you don't see it because there isn't a supply.

Still, if you use what you have somebody will likely buy it. . . .

Thanks Ray.

I'm out of touch with the show circuit an with the tactical styles mainly see the usual ti bodies. Alpha still sells timascus. Looking online jewelry type offerings in rings and similar. Sometimes hard to predict what tastes there are in various knives.

I optionally carry this one of mine: Though these days anodizing them doesn't seem to be common. This one was built up about 12-15 years ago.

Saw some on a few knives at the Blade this past summer, but not many. Sure don't see why it wouldn't be a "seller".
That's one pretty knife!

This was the result:

Marble carbon fiber handle scales, iolite set in thumb stud and some liner embellishment.

What's not to like about that one? Very nice indeed.

Beauty! The file work on the liner seems especially nice . . .
